What is your minimum run?

Inksmith Printing has different requirements depending on the type of item being produced. The following are our minimum runs for some of our more basic orders.

Do you print presentation folders?

Inksmith Printing prints basic folders for all of your branding and presentation needs. Our basic folder print size is 9”x12”. Each folder includes two separate 4” flaps and two business card flaps to properly present all of your business and marketing information and collateral.

Can you print raised type?

Yes we can. Inksmith Printing can produce raised type for wedding invitations, greeting cards, stationary, and other items requiring this special type. We use thermography – a special toner that’s heat-treated – to create this specific style of type. Contact us with any specific type processes that you may need.

I have created a document with 4-color settings but I need less than your minimum count. Can you print my order?

For files designed for 4-color CMYK processes, Inksmith Printing can handle small order sizes by producing the prints digitally rather than our traditional offset printing process.

Our group needs 10 large (6 foot by 5 foot) posters for an event. What is the turnaround time on a project like that?

Typically, posters of this size take 3-4 business days to complete. Inksmith Printing takes the situational usage of the posters into consideration when creating posters. For example, posters may require lamination during outdoor use. Other times, posters may be printed on heavy cloth-like material for durability. The turnaround time on large, special print projects depends on any unique processes that may be necessary for completion.

Our non-profit group is doing a mass-mailing of 50,000 2-color appeals letters, envelopes, and donation cards. Can you handle that quantity?

I need to match a specific color. What can you do?

Color-matching is one of Inksmith Printing’s specialties. Our color specialists take great care in ensuring that we can exactly match your specific color needs. Contact us to find more about Inksmith Printing’s color matching abilities.

My company needs tri-panel brochure that folds down to 8.5” by 11”. Can you handle this?

Unfortunately, no. Inksmith Printing uses presses that are 14” by 20”. This requested piece is 25” by 11” and cannot be fulfilled. Find out more about the capabilities of our equipment.

Do I have to be local to use InkSmith’s services?

Inksmith Printing ships proofs and final prints all over the United States. For customers outside of the Bay Area, Inksmith can take data via email (Zip or Stuffed files) or through direct FTP transfer.
